Scottish Borders Fungus Group

The Scottish Borders Fungus Group was formed three years ago by three friends who shared the same enthusiasm for finding and studying fungi. We are based at Melrose in the Scottish Borders and our area is surrounded by wonderful, diverse and largely unrecorded foray sites. 

We have regular meetings, spring and summer, once a month, and autumn and winter we meet twice a month. All our collections are recorded on the national databases, so our members can feel a genuine connection with the fight against climate change

Every opportunity is used to provide educational materials for our members so their interest can be fulfilled and hopefully expanded upon.
